Hello to all dear friends and well back on my blog.
Today I share with you a watercolor painting that has as the subject the beloved sea.
I chose to make it on a very long size, 30cm. x 90cm. to highlight the horizontal trend of the waves.
Often the waves of the sea draw sinuous or curvilinear ways, skis or water clouds.
A monochrome painting with a scale of colors ranging from cobalt blue to cerulean and teal.
I would like to point out that the white of the foam or sketches is the original color of the sheet of paper.
No white tempera or acrylic!
A real watercolor has the white light of the paper that illuminates it, from the inside, without tricks or overlaps of whites.

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog.
Oggi condivido con voi un dipinto ad acquarello che ha come soggetto l'amato mare.
Ho scelto di realizzarlo su un formato molto lungo, 30cm. x 90cm. per evidenziare l'andamento orizzontale delle onde.
Spesso le onde del mare disegnano andamenti sinuosi o curvilinei, scie o nuvole d'acqua.
Un dipinto monocromo con una scala di colori che vanno dal blu cobalto al ceruleo e al verde acqua.
Ci tengo a precisare che il bianco della schiuma o degli schizzi è il colore originale del foglio di carta.
Niente bianco a tempera o acrilico!
Un vero acquarello ha la luce bianca della carta che lo illumina, da dentro, senza trucchi o sovrapposizioni di bianchi.
Lo potete vedere da questo particolare.
