An Italian Day
Hello to all dear friends.
When you think about Italy and try to make associations of ideas what are they?
Listening to my friends who live in other countries, they often think about: art, sea, good food and wine.
Here today I share a watercolor painting that gives a glimpse of some of this characteristic.
I created an unusual landscape, composed of some typical Italian elements.
Fruits: watermelon, grapes, oranges, lemons, pomegranates, parsley.

A nice bottle of red wine.
Terracotta pots, with typical Etruscan shapes.
And a beautiful sea at sunset.

What a pity unfortunately when we take a trip to the sea all these fruits and objects we do not always have them available.
A good bottle of red wine from San Giovese, Merlot, Cesanese or whatever you like to drink in company.
A desire that I sometimes manage to fulfill with a good friend on the beach.

Un giorno italiano
Ciao a tutti cari amici.
Quando pensate all'Italia e provate a fare delle associazioni di idee quali sono?
Ascoltando i miei amici che vivono in altre nazioni, pensano spesso a: arte, mare, buon cibo e vino.
Ecco oggi condivido un dipinto ad acquarello che lascia intravedere alcune di questa caratteristiche.
Ho ideato un paesaggio inusuale, composto da alcuni elementi tipici italiani.
Frutta: cocomero, uva, arance, limoni, melograni, prezzemolo.
Una bella bottiglia di vino rosso.
Dei vasi in terracotta, dalle forme tipiche etrusche.
E un bel mare al tramonto.
Che peccato purtroppo quando facciamo una gita al mare tutti questi frutti e oggetti non li abbiamo sempre a disposizione.
Una buona bottiglia di vino rosso di San Giovese, Merlot, Cesanese o quello che gradite per bere in compagnia.
Un desiderio che qualche volta riesco a soddisfare con un buon amico sulla spiaggia.
Spero che il mio acquarello vi piaccia e vi auguro una meravigliosa giornata italiana.
