I have been living in SE Asia since 2016 and have flown on Air Asia many times. I use 90 Day Tourist Visas to stay in the various countries, and most often fly out for trips to renew my time. I was also a frequent flyer in the US for most of my life. Air Asia wins the top spot in my airline reviews. I have had wonderful trips every time and stopped even looking at other options after my first few trips.
Air Asia's slogan is "Now Everyone Can Fly" and it is true. Air Asia is always the cheapest rate and always has the best schedule. Even for short trips, they are usually less expensive than buses or trains.
All in-flight and ground personnel greet me with a friendly smile and go out of their way to help me get settled and deplane. All food I have had on board has been delicious and inexpensive. What’s not to love?
As you see from my photos, Air Asia has a strong and consistent message with their brand. You will never mistake and Air Asia craft for any other.
I’m showing you the buses and ramps we use, and some of the views from the planes. Can you tell Myanmar from Bangkok and Malaysia?
The little boy you see was featured in one of the Air Asia Travel 3Sixty in-flight magazines I always read. As he flew with his family he was enamored by the ground crew activities directing the movement of planes. When Air Asia found out about this they suited the little guy up and let him live his dream! You can see how seriously he took his duties. This article brought a tear to my eye, and I cannot imagine a Western airline to be so gracious and helpful.
Air Asia gets my thumbs up and a 5 star review. I am so happy to show you their brand as my third entry to the “Brand Story” Contest for @nTopaz on STEEM. If you have a tale of a brand that has made an impression on you, be sure to enter it here.
I used a Canon ELPH160 point and shoot camera for some of these photos and a HMNOTE 1LTE mobile phone for the rest.
