Salvation is on of my earliest collage artworks created at 2004. Back then i was making the first steps towards art and i used magazine parts for my material. It was a very messy work as the magazine pages are very thin when glued, after a short time, air bubbles were created and deformed the final result. It was the first reason i switched to prints and cardboard, even though i enjoyed searching the magazines to find the right part for my artwork.
The materials i used in Salvation are mainly taken from a sports car magazine and the model was based on a the centerfold of a Playboy with some imagination added. Seeing it after 15 years i cannot help but admire the vibrant colours of the magazine parts.A think that i really miss in my later print using days, but i had to sacrifice top quality for a well constructed result.
