I did show a Light Painting from this quarry in belgium before. The one with the blue 'roof' is based on this ambient test. The first step for a light painting is usually the composition, then you do a first ambient light test where you find out how long of an exposure you can do with the flashlights you have. After that one would would think of a light painting feature to add. Many times those pictures are also very nice. Here is one of those. I know i was going to introduce another color but i tested the orange first.
The second photo shows you a little behind the scene photo. I just had my head lamp on and the shadow of the cameras were so cool.
