Dove - Colomba

In questi giorni tranquilli di estate, posso dedicare un po' più di tempo alla passione del disegno. Stavo schizzando degli animali (alcuni fantastici, altri molto meno), e ho iniziato a lavorare su una colomba in volo. Ecco il procedimento che mi ha portato al risultato finale:

1. Su procreate per ipad ho fatto lo schizzo a matita
2. Ho riempito la forma con un colore piuttosto neutro e ho cambiato il colore dello sfondo in azzurro, per farlo assomigliare ad un cielo
3. Ho aggiunto una bozza di ombreggiatura sulla colomba, le nuvole ed un effetto di luce in cielo
4. Ho lavorato ancora un po' sulle ombre, aggiungendo scuro nelle parti più in ombra e tocchi di luce nelle parti più in luce, infine ho aggiunto becco e zampe, per arrivare al risultato finale.

In these quiet summer days, I can devote a little more time to my passion for drawing. I was sketching animals (some fantastic, others much less), and I started working on a dove in flight.
Here is the procedure that led me to the final result:

1. On procreate for ipad I did the pencil sketch
2. I filled the shape with a neutral color and changed the background color to light blue, to make it look like a sky
3. I added a shading sketch on the dove, the clouds and a light effect in the sky
4. I worked a little more on the shadows, adding dark in the most shaded parts and touches of light in the most illuminated parts, and finally I added beak and legs, to reach the final result.
