🎼 Somewhere Over the Rainbow (Cover Violin)

Hay canciones que perduran en el tiempo. Sin saber porqué, conectan de un modo especial con la gente y dejan de envejecer para perdurar. Over the Rainbow que en español significa Sobre el arcoíris, es una balada escrita para la película El mago de Oz en el año 1939.

Existe una versión de la canción que realizó el cantante de origen Hawaiano Israel Kamakawiwo’ole en 1993, mezclándola con otro tema llamado What a Wonderful World, de Louis Armstrong. Este chico deseaba dedicarse a la música con todas sus fuerzas hasta que consiguió dedicarse profesionalmente. Persiguió su sueño. Y esta es la versión que quise hacer con mi violín.

Los sueños…, tan comunes a todos pero tan difíciles de describir. La canción hace referencia a ellos, a las expectativas de algo mejor, de un mundo diferente. A las metas, ilusiones, anhelos.
