Hive account@ntopaz! As I understand it, the rules for the black and white photography contest, I’m able to submit three entries. This is my second. This photo is of pinup model, actress and burlesque performer, Gia Genevieve, shot up a rooftop in Brooklyn, NY. Gia has been on the cover of Playboy magazine, appeared in international advertising campaigns with Dita Von Teese and in music videos with Lenny Kravitz.
This is one of the first photos with a new camera body. A Nikon D750. For years, I’d been shooting with a Nikon D7000. Having the ability to shoot this image with a full frame sensor was like opening an entire new world to my career. In addition to the advantages to a professional sensor and higher megapixels, the RAW information for each images give a more versatility for managing blacks and highlights.
