A few weeks ago I made a Chibi for the first time and in that post I don't remember, but a Steemians told me about Sailor Moon and remembered my time as a child/teenager when I watched the series and was in love with how fantastic the Sailor Moon were. So, I wanted to work on one of them but in Chibi version, specifically in Serena the protagonist of the series. ;)
Today I woke up earlier than normal to work on this design and be able to finish it on time and take advantage of the fact that at this moment my Internet is a bit stable and able to upload it to #Steemit.
I made a sketch of my character, the truth is that there were some details that I had forgotten so I looked for some images to see how it was.
I am improving my lines, I do not like the black line but in this type of characters tend to have lineart.
I placed my base colors, then start painting. The good thing about doing FanArt is that already the character has a selected clothes and colors, it only remains to do the position and paint, but when I usually make my own characters I have to think about the colors, clothes, details and others.
Here I started to place the colors of shadows and lights. To give it depth
Already for the end I was just putting color to the black line to erase it a bit, place some lights and the background.
