These weeks have been a difficult pruning I was absent a few days and I don't know how many more I will be. My computer gave me a scare and I thought I lost it also that it has little memory like mine [With the difference that she has enough videos without editing lol ..], I can no longer record videos and among the personal things I had to do not I have plenty of time to draw, hmmmm and the cherry that decorates the cake is the Internet, which is useless, It stinks!
I know it was an impossible mission but I still wanted to try to draw something on Thursday to participate in the #artexplosion contest since I liked the topic and had several ideas.
My participation was about the fire element, a girl capable of handling this element could create all kinds of things but her favorite was the fire dragons, really for my entrance I was thinking about a concept about the 4 elements invoking an elemental dragon with the inner strength of them to fight against some dark force, but ... I thought this was going to take me much longer and I gave up this idea thinking about something easier that will allow me to participate in time and that idea is what I present to you today.
Mainly it was to make a girl, with the dragon and the fire, full of warm colors, I had some problems with the anatomy but in the end I think it turned out. I was working on the sketch I had made in my new sketchbook [I made it myself, in a very easy way ...].
I worked for hours, I started with a base, the choice of colors to then paint everything, the skin was dark at the beginning, then I cleared it up and in the end I tanned it a bit since it was pale. As always good things usually change in the process.
The night came and everything was fine until by chance I learned that they were going to go through Directv Avenger PPV: Endgame, the emotion was immense because it was a movie that I wanted to see since it came out as a world premiere [I always watch the movies months later of the premiere ...] I said to myself: * I watch the movie, I do the drawing and in the morning I publish it in the morning and yeeeeeeaaaah would be even happier XD *.
Everything was going very well as I had planned until the moment they cut off Thanos's head (No, no, no, not that it gave me sadness lol), it was because suddenly I started to feel some bone pain, but then After a few minutes I began to feel very cold and internal fever trembling with a strong nervous cold, a lot of headache my eyes were crying and it was hard for me to see the computer, I could not even walk [if I got up from dizziness and it hurt more the head, apart, I could not see the whole movie because it was raining and the signal was going, how bad for me … ..].
At the end of the movie, I was worse, I couldn't even bear the pen of my Tablet suspended with my hand because the pain plus the fever was unbearable, I really made the effort because I didn't want to miss participating in the contest and I kept doing my drawing until 2 o'clock Friday morning with fever almost 40 °. I was working until I couldn't stand it anymore and I had to cover myself with 2 bedspreads for the cold I felt, after that I fell asleep.
I woke up on Saturday at 6 in the morning, worried that I had not finished my drawing and still continue with the pains, at least I no longer had a fever but the pains the same if they continued in me, I could not do more! I rested until in the afternoon that I was a little better and again I resumed my drawing, I finished it at night and I was going to publish it but as it was raining the Internet again it went away and I could not publish it in time [or at least an hour late] .
Making this drawing was not so difficult, although I could not detail as much as I would have liked, if there is no doubt that the combination of being seriously ill and making drawings does not go hand in hand.
I wanted the girl to be a little "different" so I put ears and horns on her. I wanted the hair in flames but I am not an expert in fire, so I only painted it red with gradients until it reached some yellow. The final touch was to make the skin of the Dragon, I made many layers and textures also for him and the fire was impossible not to be, but for the first attempt at digital fire [if I'm not mistaken] it went well, I think lol.
I have mixed emotions, on the one hand I am happy to have seen the movie [Although it is a part] but sad for not having participated in the contest
