NXT has gone to the MOOON!!!! but is it a bubble ?

So I'm sure a few of you are aware of this NXT coin that has exploded over the last 2 days, currently one of the fastest growing coins.

I have browsed their website and it looks impressive, but how come there was no hype about them for the last few years? The fork called BurstCoin has much more publicity yet is way more limited in it's capability?

Anyone with any experience with NXT or deeper knowledge of why the coin is gaining so much attention? Is it just a ChainCoin 2.0?
