What are you guys up to tonight?!
I've been trying to get this post out for ages now and every time I get to writing I start to get all teary and sentimental so I retreated into my office to distract myself for a bit.
Who knows I might be able to find something to write about, then I remembered I have a new phone. Naturally, the trip to the office ended up being a Photo Shoot.
The Last Pyramid of 2017
I made this a few weeks ago for one of Hubby's clients who very, generously gave me 3 huge bags of copper and aluminum swarf for the Orgonites.
I decided to say Thank You by making them this pyramid designed to bring good fortune and abundance, it also gives them another perspective on the swarf they have laying around.
Miss Koi
I also made them a koi fish. A symbol of perseverance and luck, loaded up with citrines to help draw positive vibes.
It's great orgonite maker practice to gift your swarf suppliers for they are harder to find than you think.
They're both test/wing it pieces since it was the first time I have ever worked with the swarf and you can see both pieces still need a lot of work - A rough sand down to even out the edges on the pyramid before it gets a final coat of resin to make sure it's completely sealed, another round of sanding, then polishing to shiny up those sides...
.. Who knows when I'll be able to work on resin again... I'm thinking not til after we move. š
Another thing on my to do list.
Speaking to do list.. I've been meaning to tell you.
Crystals you guys haven't seen yet.
You guys should know by now how much I'm into my crystals. A few weeks ago we paid my supplier a visit and fed our tumbled stones addictions.
Since then they have all sat in the office, charged but not smudged.
They need a good smudging and today is going to be the day!
But before all that goes down..
Here's more photos.
Some of them. Up front are the Ocean Jaspers.
One of my new Rutilated Quartz, which seems to have Hematite with it?
And yesterday when I was going gaga over Santa, Hubby bought this beauty.
MY NYE 2017
You can probably tell I'm up to nothing crazy tonight, (unless the smudging goes pear shaped..)
Just chillin at home with my beloved man and fur baby. Playing with crystals, if I can catch the sunlight, maybe I'll colour in - I used to have time for that before Steemit lol.
Tonight I'll make it about enjoying the simple things, savoring this moment and being grateful for all my blessings this year.
Without having to get sentimental...
Thank you all for being the amazing wonderful people that you are. Without you, my Steemit journey would have been less joyful and colourful.
Love, be happy and stay safe tonight
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
