It is a beautiful day, filled with reminders that life is all around us in spite of some bad news this morning. After a long battle with dementia, my spouse's mother has finally passed.
This morning as I am taking in the morning light and examining my garden - I am reminded life is all around us. There is nothing that will change that. War, disease, famine, bad economy, cataclysm (I'm sure there are other words that can be used) -- in spite of all of these things: Life finds a way.
Below are a few late season images from my garden. Next year when my hedge of hydrangeas is in full bloom, expect more. For the photogs out there, nothing special was used for these photos. Just an iPhone 12 mini, minor post processing on the device, and using GIMP for scaling to make the images web-friendly. Enjoy them.
