Hello everyone, Happy weekend!!!. I hope you're having a wonderful day. After making the charcoal drawing of the King of Pop, I'm going to be sharing a few interesting facts about Michael Jackson but first I'll be starting with the obvious facts.
Michael Jackson is the most awarded artist of all time with 40 billboard awards, 13 Grammys, 23 Guinness world records and 26 American music awards. He's won more awards than any other artiste dead or alive. Even after his death, he has also won the highest earning deceased artist several times.
Michael was best known for his moonwalk, a dancing step he invented. Although he seemed to defy gravity in his smooth criminal, this effect was actually created by special shoes that had retractable pegs with a slot in the heel. Michael Jackson had the design patent for this special shoe to prevent impersonators from recreating the move.
In Los Angeles, Michael Jackson has 2 stars on the Hollywood walk of Fame, one for himself and one as part of the Jackson 5.

Michael Jacksons favorite and famous pet, Bubbles, which is a chimpanzee was adopted from a Texan research facility. They both ate dinner from the same table, walked red carpet sometimes and Michael even taught him how to do the moonwalk.
Michael had a quite obvious series of changes as he grew older. Over the years, face shape changed, his nose became thinner and his skin tone became lighter. Some thought he didn't like his original form because of the abuse from his father when he was little.
According to Michael Jackson, the black armband he wore was a reminder to everyone about the children suffering in the world.
Michael Jackson claimed had a rare skin condition called Vitiligo. Throughout his youth, Michael had a medium brown skin colour but he lighten up some years later and his autopsy confirmed his claim.
It was announced that Michael Jackson had been spending time in an oxygenated hyperbaric chamber to defy aging. Later on, it was confirmed he actually leaked this untrue story himself to the press.
Wikipedia, Twitter and AOL all simultaneously crashed at 3:15pm on the day he passed (June 25th, 2009).
