Astana Kazakhstan - Occult Capital of the World
Nestled in the steppes of the Caucasus, the new capital of Kazakhstan has been enjoying a development boom thanks to billions of dollars in oil revenue.
The former Soviet satellite state gained it's independence in 1991 and has been ruled over by one man ever since - Nursultan Nazarbayev.
In 2009, the government decided to move the capital from Almaty in the east to the remote city of Astana in the northern territory. The president believed the location of the old capital was too close to the border with the Chinese and therefore susceptible to Chinese influence. The move to Astana, literally meaning 'capital', brought the nation's capital closer to Russia, a country that shares a long history and heritage with Kazakhstan.
Astana is largely the brainchild of president Nazarbayev who has been intimately involved at every level of the city's rapid development. Nazarbayev is credited with designing many of the iconic and ostentatious landmarks that have begun to draw the attention of international photographers and tourists alike.
Astana is in the midst of rapid development and this new frontier is awash in masonic and occult symbolism. From the royal palace, from gaudy monuments, to Egyptian styled shopping centers in the heart of the city, one can only interpret the architecture as heavily symbolic.

Pyramid
Commonly referred to as the Pyramid, the Palace of Peace and Harmony was conceptualized by president Nazarbayev. British architect Sir Norman Foster is the building's designer. It represents the values of friendship, unity and peace in present day Kazakhstan.
The Pyramid hosts international events and the congress of leaders of World and Traditional Religions in association with the UN General Assembly of World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). It contains an opera hall, conference and exhibition centers as well as a contemporary arts center.
Pyramid as Symbol
- Ancient symbol for humankind
- Egyptian reverence for pyramids, associated with spirituality
- Eye of Providence
- Eye of Horus
- All seeing eye
- Representing God and heaven at apex and earth and hell at base
- Top of triangle also symbolic of elite control
- Small triangle also represents summoning of demons and spirits
As mentioned, inside the Astana pyramid there's a opera hall in the basement. Look up at the ceiling and we find a painting of the sun. This sun has 33 sun rays (masonic number) surrounded by what appears to be another masonic symbol, the square and compass.

On the ground floor, we find another a corresponding sun on the marble floor with square and compass shaped pillars in the main atrium.

At the top floor, we find a emaculate white conference room and round table and more square and compass masonic symbology.

Baiterek Tower
Located in the center of Astana, the Baiterek Tower symbolizes the new Kazakhstan. A golden egg of the Samruk bird sits atop of the Tower and represents the rebirth of the Kazahk nation. The tower was was also conceived of by president Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Visitors who venture inside the Tower's egg will find an impression of the president's palm inside a monument known as the "Ayala-Alakan". It is meant to express the close relationship between the state and its citizens emphasizing peace, comradery and harmony. The monument itself commemorates the year 1997 when Astana was officially chosen as the new capital. Thus, the imprint of the president's palm sits at exactly 97 meters.
322
There are some esoteric numbers in the descriptions of the structures.
The 105-metre Baiterek is constructed from metal, glass and beton and weighs over 1000 tons. The 22-metre golden egg, which weighs 300 tons alone, is made with chameleon glass that changes color depending on the light.
...322.

Aerial View
From the sky, the shapes of the masonic square and compass area clearly visible, while the center square also resembles the eye of Horus / All Seeing Eye.
Kahn Shatyr Shopping Center
This architectural masterpiece was designed by, who else, Sir Norman Foster. It is the largest "Tent' structure in the world with an area larger than 10 football fields..
The main support columns also bear a striking resemblance to the square and compass.
Concert Hall
Once again, the all seeing eye or egyptian eye of Horus seems to have been the inspiration of this modern building.

Golden Towers
The golden towers bring things into focus a little more as they lend more weight to the suggestion that the main mall's architecture closely resembles the layout of masonic temples.
Golden Towers as Symbols
- twin pillars called ‘Joachim’ and ‘Boaz’ that stand on either side of masonic temples.
The Ak Orda Presidential Palace sits in the East of the city centre, at the same position as the Grand Master’s chair. President Nazarbayev’s palace is flanked on either side by vast golden pillars, which correspond neatly with the twin pillars called ‘Joachim’ and ‘Boaz’ that stand on either side of a masonic temple.
Many masonic rituals require initiates to pass between these pillars, and those with a little imagination might suggest that placing golden pillars on either side of Astana’s central Nurzhol Boulevard allows for occult workings on a grand scale.
The Phoenix
A common theme in the architecture of Astana is the concept of the 'rebirth', particularly the rebirth of the Kazak nation. The golden egg of Baiterek Tower is one example. Another, is the phoenix shaped pond flying towards the pyramid from the presidential palace.
Presidential Palace
The most distinguishing feature of the Presidential Palace is not the building itself but the front lawn flanking Ishim river. Again, like we see on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, we have a clear masonic square and compass projecting outward from a power center.
Astana by Satellite
Satellite images from google earth illuminate further how Astana has been purposefully designed and harbors a seemingly endless amount of masonic and occult symbolism.
