I remembered the face of Jack Nicholson in The Shining when I took this photograph. It was dead silent. Clouds were heavy. One could have smelled the incoming rain. No birds were flying, no people in sight. Only in the distance, a build-up of anxiety was about to burst. It seemed that way. That velvety red was augmenting some celestial unrest. I took the pictures and I felt like I photographed a ghost reunion.
The magic of everyday spaces.
