I'm gonna just gonna jot some ideas down into a post, in order to capture some attention and maybe even come up with an attack plan.
Commissioning Work
My primary business process for a photo session involved a couple steps:
- Connecting -- typically involved correspondence with individuals via Instagram, text messages, etc.
- Planning -- sharing of concepts and images to reach a consensus on the outline of the shoot
- Photographing -- the actual day of, taking photos on site, travel, related costs
- Editing -- the processing and revision of the photos and optimization for sharing
- Contributing -- supplying different media outlets with the produced content and crediting respective parties
Working alone, I did this by myself generally for many different people, and I found relative ease and success in this process. These days, I'm feeling like I could tackle more, especially after a very notable (first) fashion shoot for a team. After realizing I had some ability, I found myself desiring more of a challenge when it came to a shoot.
But people are hard to motivate. And, as more people are added to the project, utility increases but so does the cost, the ability to coordinate, complete tasks, and correspond magnifying it into an all around
disasterproduction.
So I'm gonna pay people.
They'll move for the money, as terrible or efficient, as that sounds to you. I'm tired of not getting the same amount of effort from individuals, so I'll require it. Along with the reward of due compensation, there's no reason things should not fall into place for me.
So my goal, thanks to
for the solid reminder, is to grow. I'm going to reach a considerable size, so as to fully monetize my potential. That means paying up what I earn. Scared money don't make no money. Or Steem Power, for that matter. I'll always be here to remind people that you could do it if you just maintained a steady course and improved an aspect of your work over time. I don't wanna hear a thing about things going wrong and creatives getting ignored or minnows having difficulty expanding.
