Having a potter around the garden today, I attempted a bit more macro, it has been cooler today that it has been over the past week or so in the UK so I thought it would be a good chance to get some shots of insects and the like.
Even though it was cooler, the little buggers were still very active. I found some floweres where there were lots of different bees and hoverflies, I've been trying to attempt to get a bee in midflight approaching a flower, but they were so active, this was nigh on impossible, then next time I try it, it will be with my 150-600 lens, so I can still keep my distance, but have a really good view of the bees etc, not sure if this will work, but it's worth a shot.
All shots were done using my Sony A7iii camera, with a MC-11 adaptor to allow me to use my Sigma 105mm Macro lens, I also had (on some shots) a Raynox 250 on the end of the macro lens for even closer shots.
The fly in the pic above was so small, I'd not even noticed it there when I initially took the shot, I wish it would have been facing the camera though as when you zoom in, you can see all different colours in it's eyes.
