OCD DAILY - Issue #256
Welcome to the 256th issue of @OCD Daily!
Issue #256 highlights content from 10 Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steemit to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.
Today our curators found you 10 new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are provided by newer Steemit users, that may not have the audience which their quality content deserves. @OCD strives to help provide that audience, and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.
The nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!
All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Our top nomination of the day is from , who shares some great information on metals fabrication, specifically the casting of metal. Readers are given a tour of a typical foundry and then shown the casting procedure. Don't miss this very educational post!
Peeping into the Foundry – Sand casting, a production technique (how is it done?)
In our next nomination, steps over the initial “blank piece of paper” barrier and creates some ink drawings of skulls. Why skulls? The artist has an obsession with faces, and to draw faces you've got to understand the structure that lies underneath!
Our next post shows some of the steps you can take to raise the vibration or the energy of the space around you. In fact, shares that there are five simple (which doesn't necessarily mean easy) steps you can take right now. If you're looking for some inspiration, this post is sure to fit the bill.
Our next nomination is a touching and uplifting post by on her father's recovery after a stroke. Thankfully, he was lucky to have had a stroke in an area of the brain that didn't cause any lasting damage. And thanks to his stubborn, independent spirit, he has been able to recover quite well!
Come along with on her trip to San Diego! The city was a bit quieter than she expected, but a beautiful day and beautiful surroundings. But how does San Diego compare to her homes of Spain and Mexico? You'll have to check out the post to find out!
Our trip to San Diego and how I feel there in comparison to Mexico
Next, join in a somewhat blue Monochrome Monday as he photographs the bridges of Revelstoke, British Columbia. These bridges span the Columbia river and the photography is breathtaking. What more could you want in a post? How about a monochrome freight train gif?
Our next post comes from who explains to us the physics behind medical imaging using X-ray radiography. His own X-ray prompted the curiosity behind figuring out all about gammy rays, ultraviolet light, and X-rays! And he even explains how to improve both the sharpness and the contrast of an X-ray. So much to learn!
X-ray Radiography : A Cut-section Of You Without Cutting You Open
Next, don't miss 's openmic post, where she sings a Spanish song “Vuela con el viento.” And don't worry, she provides an English translation, too. A beautiful rendition of this “medicine song.”
Steemit openmic week 84 - Cover of "Vuela con el viento" by Ayla Schafer
Up next is a post from , a Steemian from Aceh, Indonesia. He shares how he helps his parents in the rice fields, making sure animals don't eat all the sprouting rice plants there. The shoots that have just come up in the first week after planting are so green and beautiful – this post is like taking a trip there to see them!
Our last post for the day comes from who shares his original illustration for a book by Karen Meyer, “The Young Man from India.” This illustration is for the book's fourth chapter, in which a boy is carving out the name Jim Clifford. And the post includes the text of the fourth chapter!
This concludes today’s edition of the OCD Daily. We would like to congratulate the authors nominated as well as those featured.
We hope you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from these content posts, as provided by the curators.
The OCD team would also like to thank those that strive to make a difference. As anyone can create a posting but only some can create/build value.
Stop by tomorrow for another edition of OCD Daily!
Keep up the great work creating original content.
Know that your Resteem supports undervalued authors!
