August and September saw the oil markets take off after President Trump announced sanctions against Iran.
This led to widespread fear that oil supplies would be disrupted. It sent the futures market soaring with a 175% increase in some futures contracts.
The reverse is starting to play out. Prices not only stabilized during the month of October, they actually fell. The drawdown might not be over. There are valid reasons why prices could still head south.
