Okonomiyaki is known as Japanese pancake or pizza by many foreigners. It's cooked differently in different cities (Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima ...)
Today, I had Kyoto Style Okonomiyaki and seafood Yakisoba for lunch in Osaka. It's getting colder in Japan as we are entering winter season. Having this food in this season is so blessing.
Basic ingredients of this Okonomiyaki are cabbage, egg, flour and noodle. There is no pork, beef, chicken or seafood in it.
If you are a big fan of Okonomiyaki, I recommend you to try different types of Okonomiyaki in many different cities.
