Today was strange...
My oldest remaining uncle past away last week and today was the funeral. It's always, I mean in my experience, a tense experience. Lots of people come together and emotions run high.
Add covid protocols to the mix, where you can't hug or give each other a hand, and it becomes a strange experience. It all went well though , the 'tension' subsided quickly afterwards and it just became great to see family again (some came from abroad).
We also had a little gathering, and talked about the memories. All in all I'm glad I was able to be present and do my part....
So without further ado, today's picture is part of a series I did on churches around here. Seemed fitting.
