This cute pixel game has conquered the blockchain gaming world by storm and is surprising players and investors with their innovation and development updates. The Cartel is already sending its own Raider into dungeons for loot and glory. In this article I present a summary of what our Raiders have been up to this week and of the broader game developments...
It has been a massive couple of weeks of development for CryptoRaiders, with lots of new evolutions having progressed the game!

Raidering and Questing...
Bash
Hands up I messed up with Bash a bit this week - the monsters had been buffed and it took me a couple of rounds to accept this fact and accept we're now level 11 not level 12 - penultimate dungeon, not final!

SLASH had a much better outing once I'd learned the lesson from Bash... HE MANAGED 5/5 successful raids in the Witching Hour (normal)
The Not So New Recruits...
With these guys it was just a matter of grinding safely through the lower level dungeons!
Both recruits are still stuck on Heroic Hogger, no luck going higher, we need level 6!
We still got some OK gear, another Wizards Wand and some Copper Mail..
Gen 6 Recruitment Happened...
After recruitment having been delayed twice, being put back for around one month in total from the original planned date, it finally went ahead and any Raider can now mint up to a gen 6 Raider.
It's now possible to mint ALL the way up to Gen 6 with only a 14 day cooldown between recruitments, BUT that's dependent on your finding earlier GEN raiders which haven't already recruited up to Gen 5s themselves.
The Devs have reserved the right to put a hold on the release date for GEN 7 recruitment, pending the floor price of Raiders.
NB people are currently selling at a LOSS compared to the price of minting raiders, so it's a good time to pick up cheap Raiders!
You can now Sell Level 12 LOOT in game...
The first iteration of being able to sell LOOT for Arum was introduced this fortnight - you can sell L12 gear for anything from 4 to 80 Aurum - HOWEVER it's only L12 gear and you need to be able to raid L12 dungeons for that, which means you need (realistically) a level 9 Raider to stand a chance....
Given the cost of keys required to level characters it's not worth it to pay to raid for LOOT, but it's early days and we are still testing the water.
The plan is to see how selling L12 gear affects the economy and if it's all stable to allow selling of lower level gear...
'Energy and Abilities'
We also now have 'abilities' which you can release in game - attack and defence so far, and when we get L10 raiders (which isn't yet) a 'utility' ability - whatever that may be!
You need a certain amount of energy to use abilities - 50 in total - basically 5 successful attacks allows you to hit those abilities!
Interface changes and hot keys when battling...
The team carry on developing the meat of the game too - the battle screen, and you can now use keys to battle as well as yer mouse, making the game just that little bit more playable.
Everything seems to be coming together....
Crypto Raiders is just the game that goes on giving - we've now got a genuine Play to Earn model with the ability to sell loot, even if it's very early days.

- We also have some MHP and BHP in game.
I decided to sell half of our potions for around 200 Arum seems to be the way to go!
NB the price of Raider and Arum are down this week in line with the wider crypto slump!
