In this article I present a summary of what our Raiders have been up to this week and of the broader game developments...
After the excitement and rapid developments of previous weeks, it's been a relatively calm week with CryptoRaiders.....
This post is written on behalf of the
Raidering and Questing... Rings from the Endless Dungeon
The major development this week was the introduction of rewards in the endless dungeon and a reset change so Raiders can now raid these daily.
The Endless Dungeon consists of a series of floors with different levelled monsters - video here to illustrate - and higher levels = more points - and more points = a better level of ring you might win which you can equip for higher stats - Rings offer one main stat boost (strength/ agility/ intelligence) and then some of the minor stats too....
Oh, and POTIONS have also been introduced - plus 80 HP per potion taken (but your opponent gets a free hit) which means you can effectively now have a chance of winning a level above where you were before - potions are around the $0.70 mark if you sell them, so this is the cheapest way ATM of getting more experience points in regular dungeons!
I've split our Raiders into two cohorts..... ENDLESS and QUESTERS...
30BASH, our highest levelled raider stays out and doesn't go questing do he can easily do his daily raid for rings, but as he's the only raider who stands a chance of getting through several floors of the Endless Dungeon and thus getting a decent ring, the rest of our lower levelled raiders are staying questing and only coming out once a week to do their regular weekly raids and have one go at the Endless.
It's simply not worth battling with Polygon to stake and unstake every day, sending every Raider on a quest once a day, then calling them home, as you just lose out on so much questing time ({it takes 9 hours to get one item, and there's no way you can time it perfectly on a daily basis) - so they are either Quest or Endless, and IMO anything below level 7 isn't worth running in the Endless, you just can't get them high enough to earn something decent, so better to quest for potion materials!
30BASH got through a few floors, and managed to get a ring of intelligence, plus 2 to intelligence, which is OK.
20SLASH did a couple of floors of endless too, but had much better luck in his regular raids, picking up a Sorcerer's Cowl which is some awesome gear!
Other News...
There have been some new RAIDER bond pools created on Olympus Pro network, in an attempt to stop so much Raider flowing towards investors which is then being sold.
Rewards going to the four main pools currently on the RAIDERS platform are going to be reduced and plans are being made to drop a higher proportion of RAIDER emissions for in-game rewards, this is a game first move so it seems like a good idea to me!
Accounting...
I did a little jiggling about this week - claimed all our rewards and bought some more RAIDER with our Aurum and some spare USDC we had kicking about, 4 more Raider staked as a result....
