You ask the man what he is referring to when he mentions you 'being the key' to the final scroll.
The man lights up, as if excited to hear you being curious about what he's telling you. He enthusiastically answers:
"My child, believe it or not, we think that the last scroll is waiting for something specific. The scrolls that me and my family of future gods have uncovered 11 out of the 12 hidden scrolls so far. These have allowed us to uncover the truths of our world, and bend and shape it to our will. However, the final scroll, scroll number 12, that is the one we will need if we want to stand a chance at bringing this planet into the new, long awaited age. We have foreseen this in our many vision quests. Using knowledge gained from the previous scrolls we have uncovered, we are able to perform certain type of... seances, if you will, that allow for all sorts of different things. Our vision quests have shown us that we are to await for a hero, who will one day help us retrieve the final scroll. We believe you to be that hero."The man looks deep into your eyes as what he's just spoken out loud settles in. Taken in by his admiration for your potential, he asks:
"Tell me my child. On your soul quest... Did you become a hero?"
