When I wrote this, I was thinking of how much sexual subtext there is in fairy tales, and what it would be like if that were explicit rather than implied... so this is basically an erotica version of sleeping beauty.

I wrote this song, among others, for a woman I was dating a few years ago. She loved it, but if I ever played it in public, she would leave the room. Which is understandable... as pop songs go, it's not exactly X rated, but it isn't PG either ;D
