¡Hola amigos de Steemit! Esta semana nos salimos un poquito de nuestra zona de confort y escogimos "who you are" de Jessie J para participar en el Open Mic. La versionamos totalmente para que mi voz pudiese adaptarse a las exigencias de la canción sin perder el estilo "suave" que quisimos darle con el teclado. En lo personal esta canción tiene un significado muy grande para mi y se que muchas personal también se han sentido indentificadas con la letra, lo que la hace mucho mas especial.
Hello friends of Steemit! This week we left a bit of our comfort zone and chose "who you are" of Jessie J to participate in the Open Mic. We completely versioned it so that my voice could adapt to the demands of the song without losing the "soft" style that we wanted to give it with the keyboard. Personally this song has a very big meaning for me and I know that many staff have also felt identified with the lyrics, which makes it much more special.
Por lo general no suelo cantar canciones que tengan tonos graves y luego salten a tonalidades mas agudas, prefiero mantenerme en un punto intermedio (por comodidad) pero esta vez fue diferente y espero que les guste lo que hicimos. Se que hay muchas cosas que se pueden mejorar a nivel de tecnica vocal y por eso agradezco a todos los que hacen posible el Open Mic, por darme la libertad de atreverme a experimentar con mi voz. Espero les guste mucho, ya logramos editar el Chroma jaja (Seguimos trabajando en eso)
Usually I do not usually sing songs that have serious tones and then jump to more acute tonalities, I prefer to stay somewhere in between (for comfort) but this time it was different and I hope you like what we did. I know there are many things that can be improved at the level of vocal technique and for that I thank all those who make Open Mic possible
for giving me the freedom to dare to experiment with my voice. I hope you like it a lot, we already managed to edit the Chroma haha (We continue working on that)
