Hello Open Mic'ers!
Today I offer you my take on the famous Dolly Parton song, "Jolene".
Those of you who follow me know that i'm a big Dtuber, and so i've been a little sad that I havn't been able to add my Open Mic posts to my Dtube channel in the past. This week though... I noticed some new language in the Open Mic Post:
Even if you use Dtube, a youTube or Video link must be added to your post too.
I'm taking this as a greenlight to post on Dtube and also add a YouTube link... wahoo!! If I'm reading this wrong... let me know 
Ok so I'm really excited to learn this song because my ukulele bud Jes and I have an old boss named Jolene and she was ALWAYS our biggest supporter! She was so sweet and would always try to crash our lunch time practice sessions to listen to us play. Now that spring is around the corner, we'll start jamming our ukes on lunch break outside again and she keeps telling us how excited she is for that.
( I say ex-boss because we have moved to different positions, but we are all at the same company).
We thought it would be fun to learn this song and surprise her with it next time she walks outside when we are playing!
