For this week I wanted to bring something a little different in this contest, since many musicians make their good videos either by singing or playing an instrument, but I would like them to give importance to a very important tool for a musician, and it is the metronome, so this time I show you in this video a drum solo with the metronome, but first I will talk a little about this tool:

Metronome

What is the metronome and what is it used for?

The metronome is a device to indicate the time or pulse of musical compositions. Produces a visual or sound signal, which allows every musician to maintain a constant and exact pulse with any musical instrument and even when singing.

Pulses per minute

To know to know or define at what speed the song or the piece of music should be executed, the duration time of a figure is established, for example: if the composer wants the tempo to be one quarter note per second he will write at the top of the score of the work the indication "black = 60", indicating that the number of blacks should sound in a minute.
