Some songs just take one listen to become special in your life, well this one is one that I will happily add to that list. Knowing what the lyrics mean, understanding that every single line was crafted undressed emotionally with little care of what would happen after showing that much vulnerability, I was stripped from my own. -
*Zipporah’s ”Unseen” is a poetically tragic glimpse into the chilling abyss of constant human struggle, and the will to keep fighting against all odds. No one fights the good fight quite like Zippy – I’ll never give up on her, that’s for sure. Round-by-round, she’s a winner in every way. “Unseen” is just one of her many victories and accomplishments yet to come! * -

Did we just have a train of talent hit the #openmic at 80 mph when we stopped looking? What a beautiful song, what a great performance.... and right when it hit the falsetto, man!! I had to rewind just to enjoy that again... -
Now the playing is absolutely perfect, but for me as a judge and a singer I tend to always keep a special ear out for the vocals - and man I have to say your voice is just spectacular and you use it to such great effect throughout this performance.
You have a very impressive vocal range, your depth is shown throughout with delightful moments when you wow with your stunning falsetto - the control you display throughout was just perfection. -

Daniels exquisite guitar introduction set the stage perfectly for this lovely song selected by Maria. Her vocal performance of “Costumbres” is heartfelt, passionate, and captivating in every regard. This is a beautiful song about life and love – performed beautifully and lovingly! -
I really do have to mention the sublime playing in this performance, it was the perfect accompaniment and you chose the most brilliant ways to highlight the stunning vocals.
Now for the part that stole my attention so completely, the vocals were truly transcendent - just technically perfect, but on top of pitch perfect quality of your tonal choices and the chosen inflections were just divine. -

The moment Kim began singing this Grace VanderWall cover, I totally forgot my own name! :-) Kim is a lovely vocalist and talented musician who took this opportunity to introduce a brilliant guitar player, Enrique, to Steemit. This is a truly outstanding performance from each of these fine young artists! -
Your voice is just so captivating, you drew me in and I couldn't help but get into this performance - just an absolutely stunning rendition of this rather difficult song.
On that note I just want to mention that for non-singers out there they may not notice, but the breath pattern you have to adapt to successfully pull off that song is rather difficult.
Great playing from both of you, adding the guitar added some extra depth to the performance and I think really highlighted the unusual arrangement of the song perfectly. -

Steemit Openmic Week 98 Sami D Barid Impossible Original Piano Song --- by
Although I’m not 100% certain if Sami is “classically” trained or not, he sure sounds like he is. There is (IMHO) an essential element in Sami’s artistry that simply cannot be taught - regardless of training. That element is Sami’s inherent ability to translate emotion deeply and effectively within each of his captivating arrangements. All of the above are just a few of the essential ingredients it takes to make a brilliant film composer, and that’s exactly what Sami is! Take a listen to Sami’s “Impossible” and you’ll know exactly what I mean. BRAVO! -
Honestly Sami is just a master at his craft. How does he do this? How does he capture all the dynamics of a score written by a master in one freaking room? The buildup gave me goosebumps, got me all emotional.... and I'm thinking to myself... What's happening? Why are you feeling so melancholic?
