Lazy day today. First, we overslept big time. It's been busy days, and I've also had to do some night time work for my employer.
We do question the value of the sleeping bag logistics a bit. After all, those bags are designed for summer time use. There were people to pick up from the border today, so we decided to focus on that part instead - but alas, two big buses came there and picked up everyone even before we got out of the house.
We picked up a nine-seat caravelle that we sort of got for free (paid the equivalent of the wreck price for it). It hadn't been used since October, so it was some hours of work even just to get it started. The windows behind are painted black, so it feels more like a prison transport than a minibus. I'm wondering a bit if the car is safe to drive at all. Anyway - if there will be anyone to pick up from the border, I can go now on short notice - and if there won't be anyone, then we don't need to worry that we've wasted a lot of money on a car that we don't need.
Generally they fill up the cars with aid, pass the border to Устилуг, unload the car and drive it straight back over the border, then picking up passengers that have already passed the border by feet.
