I found an interesting plant that creates an orange web, but why? Turns out, it's a parasitic plant that attaches to a host plants roots and starts to grow. Once it attaches to the hosts vasculalar system it's own roots die off. It can even attach to multiple hosts. If you ever get a chance, stop and look at how it completely overwhelms the host. I wonder if this plant gave H.G.Wells some inspiration?
