This is a quick guide on how to transfer your Origin from a wallet address created before the 0.18.0 release on the BitBucket.
If you would like to learn more about Origin, you can check out one of my previous blogs.
Now that we've got that out of the way, we can begin transferring Origin from your old address to your new one. You do not need to do this if you created your wallet after the 0.18.0 release.
You will need to update your address if your address looks like this.

To do so, keep reading this guide.
Procedure -
- The first and most basic thing is to open up your wallet.
Once that is open, click the address tab on the left-hand side.
You can fill the entropy box (Second one!) with anything you would like, as long as you can remember it.
- Next, fill the "Prefix" box (Third one!) with any 5 characters. Make sure you can remember this too!
- Once you have done that, you can create your address by clicking "Create" under the "Prefix" box.
- Click on your new address, then click "Copy address"
- Go back to the "Wallet" tab and paste your wallet in the "Address" box. In the second box, write how much you would like to transfer from your old address to your new address. You can leave the third and fourth box blank. Once you enter that, hit send.
- Go back to the "Address" tab on the left, click on your new address, click "Set Spend Address", and then return to the "Wallet" tab.
Now sit tight and wait for a block or two to be found, and your Origin will be sent to your new address.
