This is a song I recorded, played and produced a while back.
It was a recorded on Cubase and it's a layering of acoustic guitars, drum machine, and electric guitar.
I ran each acoustic guitar through a gate using a different frequency spectrum for each track and then combined them to sound like one, full spectrum guitar.
Although the technique is nothing new, it was the first time I got to play around with it.
The drum machine was slightly slowed down during the transition between song sections and, along with playing with the dynamics, I think it gives it a more human feel to the track.
