What is IAGON exactly?
IAGON at its core is a decentralized and open-sourced cloud computing, and storage services platform. As artificial intelligence continues to be created and implemented, there is an uptick in demand for data storage and cloud computing in general. IAGON seeks to utilize the immense amount of unused computing power and storage space to (in essence) create a super-computer that can compete with the likes of Google and Amazon! IAGON will offer services at a better rate than these monopolies, and one can use IAG tokens to cover expenses!
Problems IAGON Seeks to Remedy!
Below is a description of the current cloud market taken directly from IAGON's whitepaper. This is in a sense their mission statement through describing the fallacies of the modern day cloud computing market. IAGON seeks to end the monopolization of cloud storage and data, and allow users to have free reign over data they possess.
The market of cloud storage services is composed by a large number of companies that operate and offer data storage programs, from small data centers who cater to the needs of individuals and SMEs to large storage facilities of companies (such as Amazon, Google and Microsoft), aiming at managing their own gigantic volumes of data, but also offered to external customers. However, since the frst days of cloud
storage services and until recently concerns over the protection of data, the reliability of centralized data centers, the liability of cloud storage companies in cases of lost or incorrectly stored fles and the privacy of users are often expressed by experts. [WhitePaper, Page 6]
Security
If a user wants to run and build a website, there is no longer the necessity to buy and assemble a server machine to mantain dedicated internet service. With IAGON, users can simply purchase cloud storage to both run and host their platform. This ease of use requires protection, and IAGON's storage services will ensure a high level of security by utilizing military layer file encryption (SHA256). In the splicing of data and distribution of smaller encrypted components, it is ensured that no single miner has access to an entire file.
Cloud Computing Coverage
So what is the importance of cloud computing, and why is it such a necessity for the growing tech world?
Well, the grid IAGON seeks to create will help platforms develop evolutionary technology (such as facial recognition, voice recognition, and even video and image processing). Immense computing power is required to assess large data sets that growing technology provides, and until IAGON, there are options few and far between in regards to attaining large capacities of cloud storage. No longer will users have to sacrifice quality or security to attain storage, IAGON is making things easier for the everyman!

IAGON leverages the Blockchain technology to maintain honesty of nodes across IAGON distributed data mining algorithm. The Blockchain uses SHA256 algorithm of previous blocks to maintain a chain link to its historical state (in this case data).This allows IAGON to incentivize miners on its platform to process data honestly and to guard against deliberate manipulation of the data output.
