The "Big" Day
Saturday, Sept 15th I unofficially participated in Glenwood Spring's "Oktoberfest" with the intention of selling some drawings, doing some tarot for fun/money, and maybe get some commissioned work on my plate. Also, I started work on this guy right here with some of the new Prismacolors I had purchased at the local art store.
Waiting...
The gentleman from the night before who had paid me $20 for two Tarot Readings wanted to meet me during the fest to treat me to a delicious local burger and fries. Though, I cannot "hold it in" forever, and my need to give into Nature's orders would take me out of the picture. Since most places have restrooms for "paying customers only" this means I had to pack up in full every time I had to "tinkle".
Of course, when I would return, I would see a "better" place to set up and give it a try for an hour or so before going back to my original spot. By doing this, I somehow missed that gentleman, as I did not see him for the remainder of the day.
5 of Cups
After putting in a 12 hour day, I only made $3 in pity cash. Those folks didn't even want the Tarot Reading. What did they really want? Needless to say, I did not feel my usual cheerful self that night, had two cheap non-Oktoberfest beers and actually had the best night of sleep in a good long while...
Strange, isn't it? Perhaps I wore out my welcome already and need to move on?
Much Love!
