Camping at Ortona Lock

Ortona lock is a great place to camp. The staff are super nice to everybody and are really considerate. There are numerous leisurely activities to do, like fishing, walking, or they have horse shoe toss. One of my favorite activities to do is walk the dogs and let them socialize with the other dogs and people.

During the colder months there isn’t much fishing to do because the fish don’t like colder weather. I have seen other people catch big snook and other little bait fishes. It does provide some practice for casting though.
