Magandang buhay💛
A whirlwind Friday! We have been out and about since 8 am, driving to the other town for various errands. First to the bank, the organic veggies center, then to my sister's, to Papa's place, to our favorite grocer, then to the farm store, and finally arriving at our house in BC just before 2 pm.
We picked up some junk food (fried chicken) on the way since we were starving. We could have eaten at a restaurant, but at such a busy time, we would have had to wait a while. Oh well, the LilGuy was obviously hungry too, lol!
After the late lunch, we took care of stuff. Watered my yard plants too, and had a bit of chit-chat with my old man (Dad), then we drove down to the valley for the remaining missions, dropping by a cousin's shop to say hello. They were just about to go out to attend an in-law's birthday, so we didn't stay long.
It was time to head home to DD.
The weather bureau is forecasting a longer dry season this year, and we are feeling the impact. We observed that the water level in the small river in the valley is now low. And the days are unusually hot, even at mid-afternoon.
The hubby suggested we take a break as we drove back to DD. We found a spot along the highway and enjoyed the cool air under the trees. Yongi was pleased. He walked on the roadside barrier for a couple of rounds, then rested beside the tree trunk when he got tired.
We arrived home just before the sky went dark. It's pretty hard to believe, but that's how quickly the day had gone (for us anyway). Pretty hectic, yet we loved how things went.
