As I mentioned in one of my first posts, at some point in my art process I started to feel stuck and not truly knew what my voice was. I decided to take lessons of intuitive painting to try to feel more and express myself with art.
At the beginning of the course, I would call this phase exploration in art, I just tried to let go a bit and forget the rules I was taught in many years of school education. And sure I can tell it was hard, if you do and believe in something for so many years, it's a real challenge to step out that zone.
Still, I always feel that there is room for moving forward, developing and growing in art and also in life. So when I start to feel stuck or bored or frustrated, I know I must change something. In a creative way, it means experimenting with different approaches and trying to figure out, what works for me and what is not.
The painting below (video+pictures) is one of the first pieces that I created during the intuitive painting course. It is more abstract than my previous range of art. Firstly I made the background and from that, I developed another story on a new layer. If I had to choose one color, that feels totally mine, that would be blue for sure :)
Have you ever done a course that changed your art approach or what helped you in a time you felt stuck?
