Or maybe it's just because I lack training in art, but I've been doing engineering for a while.
I've bought my wife a wacom intuos tablet last year. I'm not into art, but I decided to test it out and painted this.. even though I had a photo which I used as a base (this is not a picture of my wife, though) and this took me almost 2 hours to make. And I got really upset because nothing worked like I wanted it to work.
My wife told me that she also gets tired when using the tablet because she can't get a grip of all the brushes (Corel Painter Essentials 5) and she knows she can get the things she wants straight away when she paints or draws on paper.
So if any of you have any good tutorials for Corel Painter Essentials 5 for my wife (I assume I could google that) or about anything which can make me a better artist (google can't save us), please share!
But please enjoy my painting for today. I hope this brings you as much you as it brought to me :)
For those who do not know, this is based on an old profile photo of suesa from Steemit chat. In the small picture, she looked a bit like a cactus.
