Barend Cornelis Koekkoek ( 1803 – 1862 ) was a Dutch landscape artist , known during his lifetime as the “ Prince of Landscape Painting ” . Large oak trees, winding paths and panoramic views filled his paintings with an artful atmospheric mood and made him to father of Dutch romantic landscape painting .
