The zebra is an animal that only lives in Africa. They are herbivorous animals, that is, they only eat grass. Adult zebras weigh approximately 300 kg and their average life is about 20 years. They live in stable family groups. The family consists of a stallion (the adult male), one to six females and the offspring up to 2 years of age. Adults stay together for most of their lives, often to death.
