I painted Elmo for my niece as a Christmas gift. It is a 12x24 acrylic on canvas. I like the way it came out. I'd like to go back and do a similar one, but transform Elmo with different colors. Everyone is always scared to touch big characters like this...I may do that soon....Imagine a blue Elmo.
This was actually one of my first paintings. It is super simplistic, but I was thinking of the holy trinity when I was painting this. I still have it. Would love to sell it, but the few people that have been interested have not offered me enough to let go of the sentimentality.
I love koi fish. I am not the best artist in the world, but this piece was fun to do. It has a lot of my favorite colors, and the fish just finishes it off to perfection in my brain.
This was one of my first shots at hydro dipping. I hydro-dipped the canvas into a bucket of water, borax, and spray paint. Then I put a storm trooper on it. I did a similar one with Yoda, but I sold it. The storm trooper just doesn't wanna go anywhere.
