"No one hugs like you." The tall poplar in the ivy said!
"I would never see the sun turning it off his fire
in the water of the sea to sleep, if your trunk did not exist".
Said the ivy to the poplar
and the wind of the open sea caressed both leaves!
<<Κανείς δεν αγκαλιάζει σαν εσένα.>>! Είπε η ψηλή λεύκα στον κισσό!
<<Ποτέ δεν θα έβλεπα τον Ήλιο να σβύνη την πύρα
του στο νερό της θάλασσας για να κοιμηθεί, αν δεν υπήρχε ο κορμός σου>>!
Είπε ο κισσός στη λεύκα! ..... και ο αέρας του πελάγους χάϊδεψε
και των δύο τα φύλλα!
