Hi!
10-16-19 San Roque, Macrohon, S. Leyte
Public market in Padre Burgos on Wednesday morning. This is my entry of Monday Missions initiated by , and this must be an entry to #walkwednesday initiated by
.
As you can see people are too busy to buy fresh produce from our farmers & fisher folks. Actually, we have the same Markets in my place but a different date. Macrohon Poblacion Market open is Sunday and at Padre Burgos is Wednesday but the same vendors on Sunday.
But wait I use to entry these post to #marketfriday initiated by but today is not Friday haha that is why I am not entering this post on MarketFriday. But it depends on
if she wanted to count this post.
So back on the Market Walk. Earlier my wife asks me to go to Padre Burgos Market and see what we can buy in there fresh produce. So we went at time 5:30 AM when we arrived at the place the crowd slowly came in and all the vendors started busy calling and asks them to buy their products.
Look! Here lots of dried fish, hot dogs, chorizo, eggs and many more. I am happy to see the people very busy to buy what they need or they want to prepare for breakfast especially for lunch.
The Municipality of Macrohon is one of the best products when it comes to Vegetables, Fish and Minerals. I am happy to be a Macrohonanon and I am so proud of my country because the people here are so lovely and it is more fun in the Philippines.
Look what I found fresh fish and fish shells. I left my wife to the vegetable vendors and I take a walk to the next station and I found this bunch of fishes and seashells. The most various seafood this is the most favorite food of Philly people even me and my brother's & sisters when we go to the first place we go to is the seafood vendors to buy seashells and fresh fish.
My sister's favorite is seashells and her favorite recipe is what we called in Visaya dialect is (TINUNUAN NGA KINASON) in other words seashells with coconut milk with vegetables. I don't know other love those recipes but try it very delicious and milky.
Wot! a long round in round to the market I saw my Wife Auntie and she buys fresh produce on the market for their breakfast. Honestly here you can buy the ingredients for 20 to 30 PESO only per bunch. As you can see those grouping crafts? the vendor has the Idea to sell their crafts for a low price so the buyers can afford to buy.
Thank you and I hope I enjoy your day to see that fresh & vegetables. WELCOME TO THE PHILIPPINES.
