So, I watch this YouTube channel called 'Bright Insight' run by this dude named Jimmy. He talks a lot about human history and believes in several alternative theories about humanity's history. He brings up a lot of good info.
The other day I noticed that he went on JOE FRIGGIN ROGAN and I was so excited to listen. It's been hard to listen to Joe since my phones stinks and the only way to actually hear his podcast is by downloading Spotify. Ugh. But I went through the journey of downloading the app on my PS4. So it's actually quite nice if I'm being honest, except for the fact there's no video. Oh well. I'm only about halfway through the podcast right now.
I grew up by a very let's say, spiritual, mother you could say. She told me countless stories about like palmistry, spirits, the after-life, witchcraft and like pretty much a lot of things along those lines.
But of all the odd things she would talk to me about, one of my favorite things she would say is that she believed Atlantis was real. I was so young and of course I believed my own mom, that I didn't think it was silly or weird for one second.
Then when you listen to Joe, Randall Carlson, Graham Hancock and Jimmy from Bright insight it's all even MORE fascinating.
Much of my family is Greek and we are proud of it. My mom was always fascinated by the Egyptians. When I learn from these videos/podcasts that much of the Atlantis tales are from Egypt and passed to the Greeks I was even MORE amazed. This all felt more real to me.
The whole 'cradle of life' over in the Mediterranean-North Africa-Middle East, just makes so much sense if there was an Atlantis in Africa! So much civilization comes from like around the areas I mentioned.
One of the main ideas is that Atlantis could have been basically in the Northwest-ish area of Africa and that before a terrible terrible catastrophic flooding event occurred the Sahara was a massive beautiful green landscape.
Man, what a beautiful thought! Based on the flatness and evidence of salt and other descriptive details, it's VERY possible Atlantis could have been there.
Imagine the stories of cultures, stories of animals, stories of people in general that could have taken place there.
Could this structure in Africa be where Atlantis was located?

I am no scientist man but this is cool! Everyone likes to think they know everything nowadays. I know there's a lot of people that think if they weren't taught it in grade school than anything else is pseudo science but that just seems like both an arrogant and depressing way to live a life.
There's just so much mystery to this life that I would not be surprised for one moment if something like this was missing from history.
This topic has been on my mind for years and well I hope more research goes into the Eye of the Sahara.
I think maybe I will organize my thoughts more and maybe write some more about my own theories.
Ugh this is why I need to become sharper with my history I swear.
