Around the world we have seen images and video of people protesting the death of George Floyd and marching against police brutality in general. From calls of reform and defunding, and some for abolishing prisons and police as we know it, there are many who are fed up with the current state of things and they are calling for change.

One group that can't help but to join the fight are many mothers worldwide, those who are concerned about the injustice that corrupts the world currently, which their children are going to grow up in.
After seeing footage of a grown man calling out for his deceased mother because of the excruciating situation that he was in (which never needed to happen), some mothers can't help but sympathize and have compassion for the victim and the cause seeking justice for him, along with millions of others.
For one female, minority-owned dispensary in Jamaica, the empathy for the corruption and injustice that Floyd suffered, moved them to put together an art display in his honor on the side of a cannabis dispensary in Jamaica, you can see from the image above what it looks like. The image was created by A. Golob, funded by the dispensary which is still under construction for several more weeks.
Eventually, they plan to open a Social Justice Cannabis Museum at the site of the dispensary, to highlight the injustices that have plagued the war on drugs and fight for cannabis freedom.
“As a woman and minority owned business, we fell in love with the sentiment of the call to unite mothers against injustice,... Alex (Golob) took that passion and created this moving design. We couldn’t be happier with it and are proud to display his work.” - Core’s Chief Operating Office T. Gonzalez
Artwork depicting Floyd's face has sprung up in numerous places and for this cannabis dispensary specifically, they acknowledge that the drug war has greatly impacted minority and low-income communities around the world. For the reason that this cause seems close to their own company values, seeking to highlight that injustice against the individual, they admitted that they couldn't stay silent on this matter.
"We stand with our community in the fight.” - - Core’s Chief Operating Office T. Gonzalez
Even after his death, still there are many who can't help but be moved by the call to purge corruption from government systems today as we know it. Unfortunately though this is a never-ending endeavor and time and time again you'll find yourself having to change it from the inside.
