Good day dear Hive community, at the beginning of my contribution I would like to wish you all a pleasant day and hope you are all well! Today I decided to go into Roman mythology and hope you can expand your knowledge a little.
Here you can see some pictures of the moon and I would like to write a little about the god Lucifer in mythology which is also known as the personification of the morning star in roman mythology and his name means as much as light bringer. The morning star is also another name for the planet Venus which also owes its name to Roman mythology and is connected to the goddess of love and also in Greek Greek mythology Lucifer can be found and is considered an ancestor of the sun god Helios. The name Lucifer itself comes from Roman mythology, but even in ancient Greece it is often referred to as a lightbringer and some Greek poets such as Homer or Hesiod already mentioned it and assigned it as a bringer of the light. There are many connections from him and often he is also associated with occultism and revered as the ruler of hell who founded his own empire and there are similar figures who can be considered as equivalents of him such as Prometheus or Hades and also in Norse mythology the Midgard snake is often associated with the occult and the diabolical and can also be regarded as the equivalent of Lucifer and generally the snake is considered his animal and often he was also associated with the god Loki. Lucifer is often also associated with fire and here there are also some parallels to Prometheus who once stole from the gods of the Olympus the fire to bring people a light and Lucifer is also associated with Lilith who appears in different cultures. There are also traces of him in Babylonian mythology and he is considered an already very old deity about which there are many different interpretations and Lucifer plays a major role in art in is often found in some literary, poetic and other works of art and in pretty much all art epochs he appears. In occultism, Lucifer is also associated with the moon and according to some interpretations, in the image of the moon which is reflected by the light of the sun, you can recognize the image of Lucifer and this is also the reason why I decided to present pictures of it that I took earlier.
Thank you very much for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new about mythology! I captured pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens!
