Good day dear community, I hope you are all well and you had a day that brought numerous positive experiences into your lives! In this post, I would like to talk a little about art history and hope you are able to expand your knowledge.
Here you can see a wonderful work of art by the artist Michael Lueger (1804 - 1883) on which a landscape can be seen and when looking at it, it is immediately clear with what a high attention to detail he has worked and the painting looks almost realistic. I have attached some pictures below where I have enlarged some of the details a little more and he managed to create extremely authentic light effects and if you look at the work from left to right, you can see this perfect transition and he has also made a good choice of colors and I also like the depth effect very much. The color scheme is one of the things that come into its own and when you look at the lake, he has managed to portray the water surface extremely vividly and also the reflections of the mountains in the water create an extravagant mood and he was definitely a master at expressing details and the shades are also clearly visible. Michael Lueger focused mainly on painting landscapes and had a special inclination to mountain landscapes and he already knew in his early years that he wanted to become a painter and visited the Academy of Arts in Munich and quickly made a good reputation as an artist. He created some magnificent works during his life and received a lot of praise and he can be counted among an artist of the Biedermeier era and in his later years, he decided to share his knowledge and became a teacher at an academy in Munich and in this area he stayed the most during his lifetime and loved to visit different landscapes to be inspired for his new works.
Many thanks for the visit and I hope you could learn something new about art history! I captured these pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens
