There is reportedly a border crisis, and the best the Biden administration can do is throw children in cages. It didn't have to be this bad if the dems and the deep state allowed someone to build a Yuge wall, and didn't cheat in an election and are now promising to give 11-20 million people citizenship.
Some 16-17 years ago the border "crisis" got so "bad", ordinary people formed militias/posse's and started patrolling the border themselves. One might reasonably ask what happened to them. This was only 16-17 years ago. People in college today may not have ever heard of them, but their parents most certainly did.
How bad does the border situation have to get before the militias start forming again. using wikipedia, it appears that the minutemen organization faced legal hurdles starting in 2007, where 3 people allegedly claimed to be board members when they were not. A judge ruled that they were not board members. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minuteman_Project
The president and one of the founders of the minutemen seems to still be alive, but there is no mention on him on google news this year [2021] that I can find. There is a vice article from 2016 which states that the group has splintered up, and some patrols go on today [2016] in groups like Arizona border recon, and that they have served awareness of bring attention to the issue. Some of the larger names in the group, Vice also points out were allegedly bad hombres involved in killing and Hunter Biden type stuff [to keep this pg]. https://www.vice.com/en/article/xd7jmn/what-happened-to-arizonas-minutemen
Surprisingly they are still active in 2020, with volunteers as far away with Boston. Their official arguments against illegal immigration is fueled by group propaganda, but kold would have us believe, and perhaps they are being truthful, that individually their arguments against illegal immigration is particularly weak; How dare Mexicans be in the same McDonald's as us. There are such sick people out there, but there are deceptive journalist who want to paint such groups as "racists". In the end, what matters may be what the reader thinks of the immigration "crisis" or illegal immigration in general-and, of course, facts-not what the media reports certain activists think.

Vigilantism is always a potential dangerous consequence of failed policies by failed leaders [or failed jurist as the case may be]. We certainly have a failed leader who has produced failed policies. and now we watch as the laws of nature takes its course. A remaining question of course is how bad does the situation on the border have to get before membership in the minutemen [and their splintercells] have to get before they become a cognizant political force again.
Due to facebook and twitter, many falsely believe that sitting on an armchair and twitting #bringbackourgirls would do any good convincing African warlords, who might not even had internet access, to do the right thing. So these more direct ways of activism may be less common then they days when all that was available for social media was classmates and maybe myspace. If the Biden Administration doesn't address the border crisis, I am pretty sure people will don their n95 masks and sign up to volunteer with these groups making them strong again...Assuming the states don't get their national guard involved to patrol the border to accommodate for federal policy failures.
